Psychological therapy can provide the space and one-to-one support to help you understand and manage difficult feelings and find a way forward.
Psychological therapy involves working with you to build an understanding of challenges you are facing and then working together to make changes to improve the way you feel. You may have had emotional difficulties for a long time or only recently. They may have affected you on and off over the years.
Many people find that having the time to talk with a psychologist about issues that are difficult or important to them is helpful.
My work is guided by therapeutic models which are ways of understanding and working with psychological problems which have research evidence to show that they are effective.
