We provide medico-legal psychological assessments for the Court in civil litigation and hold clinics across the north west.
We take into account the needs of both the solicitors who instruct us and the people who attend for assessment.
For solicitors and agencies who instruct us, we provide an efficient and professional service. We provide appointments within four to six weeks of instruction and reports are completed within ten working days following the assessment (as long as we have all information we are required to review prior to the appointment). We appreciate there will sometimes be time pressures and will do our best to accommodate more urgent deadlines when requested.
For people attending for assessment as part of litigation, we understand the stress that can be involved. We will explain the purpose of the assessment and the process clearly and answer any questions you may have when you attend.
Typically, assessments involve examining the psychological effects of personal injury or medical negligence incidents. We have all completed training in expert witness work.
